PSALM 109 (HEBREW 110) OF KING DAVID (SEAT TO MY RIGHT):
1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies a footstool for thy feet.
2 The LORD will extend out of Zion your mighty scepter; rule, he will say, in the midst of your enemies.
3 Thy people shall be a people of sincere will, in the day when thy army shall go out in holy pomp; your young militia will be before you like the dew rising from the bosom of the dawn.
4 The LORD has sworn it, and he will not repent: Thou art a priest forever, after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He will exercise righteousness among the nations; he will fill everything with the dead; he will crush the leader who rules over a great country.
7 He will drink from the brook in the way; therefore he will lift up his head.
1 From David. Psalm. Word of the Lord to my Lord: Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 Jehovah will extend the scepter of thy might out of Zion; Rule in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Your people are eager when you gather your army; With sacred adornments, from the bosom of dawn Your youth comes to you like dew.
4 Jehovah has sworn it, and he will not repent: Thou art a priest forever, after the manner of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at your right hand breaks kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He exercises righteousness among the nations; all is full of dead bodies; He is breaking heads all over the country.
7 He drinks from the brook while he walks: therefore he lifted up his head.
Matthew 22:41
41 As the Pharisees were assembled, Jesus questioned them, 42 saying, What do you think of Christ? Who is he son of? They answered him, Of David.
43 And Jesus said unto them, How then doth David, moved by the Spirit, call him Lord, when he said:
44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
45 If David therefore call him Lord, how is he his son? 46 No one could answer him a word. And, since that day, no one dared to ask him any questions.
