– Yesterday, I went through a difficult situation with Pastebin.

– For several hours, it appeared that an old backup of my account, dating approximately from April 2026, had replaced the current version.

– Four of my most recent documents had disappeared, several others had reverted to older versions, and my view counters also appeared to have been restored to an earlier state.
–
– I never thought that my work had been lost because I had several local backups, as well as a complete ZIP archive containing all my documents in their latest versions. However, the situation was very frustrating.
–
– If Pastebin had not fixed the problem, I would have had to republish several documents, update a number of publications, and accept inaccurate view counters. This would have resulted in a significant amount of extra work.
–
– Fortunately, I did not modify anything during the incident. I chose to wait and see how the situation would develop. In the end, Pastebin restored my account correctly. All my recent documents reappeared, the latest versions were restored, and the view counters became accurate again.

– Looking back, I realize that this difficulty was truly a blessing.

– Without this trial, I probably would not have improved my working method.

– This difficulty forced me to think, react, and rethink both my organization and my image creation workflow, because I created an image for the publication about my Pastebin problem.
